Love Egyptian Dance

Love Egyptian Dance is composed of two dancers who perform Egyptian folklore dance. Nadya Hamad is originally from Columbia and has been performing Egyptian folklore dance for the last decade. Her dance partner, Iryna Lytvyn, has been performing for eight years.

They are very passionate about the dance and are very active and engaged in the Oriental Dance Scene performing in Ireland and abroad. For the past four years, Nadya and Iryna have been sharing their love for dancing through performing at events, parties, festivals, dance competitions, workshops as well as teaching others the beautiful movements that are part of the Egyptian Folklore dance. They have performed at African Day in the past, with last year marking their biggest turnout which leads to Love Egyptian Dance being featured on RTE News.

Their main inspiration is the Reda Troupe from Egypt, especially its founders and main dancers, of many years, Mahmoud Reda and Farida Fahmy. Other dancers are Nesma from Spain and Ahmed Refaat, Tito Seif and Mohamed Kazafi from Egypt.

Keep an eye out for their performance at Dublinternational on the 15th of September!
