Have a taste of peruvian culture with your family at this workshop offered by Casa Peru, a non-profit organization, who promote Peruvian culture in Ireland.

Breakdance

Gabriel Sam has been smashing the streets of Ireland for the last 10 years with his impressive dance moves. Enjoy his performance in the Street Performers area and come learn his tricks in the kids zone!

Bollywood Fusion

Missed out on Bollywood Fusion’s pop-up performance? Come learn this amazing dance with Alina in the kids zone! Bollywood Fusion Ireland is a Dublin based dance company specialising in Indian dance. With experience in dance styles from all over the world, Bollywood Fusion Ireland delivers entertaining, vivid, detailed and energetic workshops.

Kiganda Dance

This special ugandan dance workshop is led by Justine Nantale with a special guest appearance from Micheal Chanda from Barefeet Zambia. Teaching Bakisimba-Buganda’s old traditional dance, a unique movement of waist and feet, accompanied by melodies and exceptional drum beats.

Family Yoga

Sharing yoga with us at #BlueFire17 Street Fest is Tanya Thomas, who specialises in therapeutic yoga for children with additional needs. Her passion for yoga derives from her personal experience, when her daughter was born with complex CHD (Congenital Heart Disease). This was when holistic practices and yoga became an integral part of her and her daughter’s life, and she has since been sharing yoga and well-being practices with kids, teens and adults in communities nationally and internationally.

Circus Tricks

Your family was amazed at Riuchi’s act in the street performers area? Come and learn from this acclaimed circus performer, in a safe environment. Learn new skills to practice at home, amaze yourself at what you can do and maybe discover a new passion! (…Maybe even learn more about his mysterious persona!)

ReCreate is a social enterprise making art materials and educational supplies accessible and affordable to every sector of the community for all kinds of creative purposes. ReCreate are inspiring tomorrow’s inventors, engineers, and entrepreneurs by making unique and unusual open ended materials freely available and upcycled into fantastic arts & crafts! With us from 2 – 7pm, their arts & crafts activities at BlueFire Street Fest are tailored to suit your children’s needs and inspire them to be as creative as can be. Awaken your inner inventor!

Origami

Joining ReCreate from 3 – 4pm is a local Japanese lady, Akiko Kidokoro, who runs Origami workshop at museums and libraries around Dublin. Come make origami in the shape of your favourite animal and learn the skills to make your own origami at home..
