Have you ever imagined an event at the heart of your city where you can enjoy music, dances, workshops and, even better, get to know different cultures?
That is the purpose of Dublinternational 2018. The event, organised by the youth-driven social enterprise BlueFire, provides an opportunity to explore the arts in different spheres, connecting people and showing the amplitude of cultural diversity that we can find in Dublin. The event will take place in Smithfield Square, Dublin 7 on 15th September from 2 pm – 8 pm; with a free entrance
Our city is a multicultural one, our own global village, which has received people from different countries bringing with them different cultures and customs. With that in mind, we aim to make Dublinternational an event where the public can travel “around the world in 80 steps”. According to Keren Jackson, founder and BlueFire CEO, “each year BlueFire aim to create a space where artists from diverse backgrounds, including Irish, can connect, where communities can share each other’s arts, and where people can meet and have fun”. This year is no different, we at BlueFire aim to create that space once again and giving all the participants, attendees and our own volunteers an opportunity to experience different cultures in a more interconnected way.
